yes, that would be great and looking forward to your suggestions and ideas. Did I say I would like you to provide a permaculture-kind-of-answer, if that is appropriate? MB
Greetings from England! I have just found a way to contact you, so apologies if this is a bit late. I co-edit a blog called This Low Carbon Life (Transition Norwich) and have cross-posted one of your (great blogs) about Whitney Avenue Urban Farm and the challenges of guerrilla gardening.
Hey Chris long time no see. Dub and I were sitting around talking about how much things have changed since we lived in Pittsburgh. We were talking about the hole that we buried ourselves in and the long hard process it was to change that lifestyle. We looked for you on facebook and found your blog. Needless to say we are very very happy with how well you are doing, the progress you have made, and the positive influence you are having on these kids. I too work with kids doing behavioral modification in a local elementary school and am hopefully making an impact on these kids. Dub is doing great now too and wanted to tell you he said hello. I wish the best for you and look forward to hearing from you. Take care, Alex and Dub.
Chris- thanks for the invite! I am still trying to figure all this social media out... I stumbled across Transition Pittsburgh and thought I would try it out. Its good to know your out there...
Chris...I saw in the EcoCents books that Transition Pgh rents space on Roland Way (Green Suite). I noticed several businesses in EcoCents do. I am looking for a small space rental to process our farm-based products. Just need a room with electricity. How do I contact Roland Way bldg or do you have suggestions for small-business space rentals??
