Became aware of the environmental movement in 1969.  Became a member of Sustainable Monroeville in 2009.  Became a yoga teacher in 2010.  Practicing the first limb of yoga, the Yamas, and practicing Sustainability and Permaculture, are very similar.  The Yamas are: Non-violence, Truthfulness, Non-stealing, Non-excessiveness, and Non-possessiveness, see "www.eightlimbsofyoga.com/theeightlimbsofyoga.htm".

Works with Cedars Hospice Center, Monroeville, PA on a permaculture project for healing families of hospice patients.  See "www.cedarscommunityhospice.org/perm.html".  Cedars Hospice Center, as a non-profit, has agreed to make this permaculture project open to the community to observe the build out as it occurs as an example of what others in the community may do.
