Fight the violence with non-violence... What a powerful statement, but what if peaceful non-violent protests fail... what do we do then? What happens when range resources comes and builds a drilling platform in your backyard? Would you peacefully protest or would you want to grab that pig and get dirty? If your family had been living on the same farm for a hundred years and a gas well or strip mine rendered the groundwater useless... What would you do?

When I wake up in the morning I have a routine that starts by making a cup of coffee and breakfast, then I follow it up by doing laundry or maybe running the dishwasher. Somedays I even get into a car and drive to McDonalds to get my girlfriend and I breakfast. When the grass needs cut I fire up my super sweet lawnboy and mow the lawn, even this blog was written on one of these so called modern conveniences that we all treasure. Alex said… Hey Chris long time no see. Dub and I were sitting around talking about how much things have changed since we lived in Pittsburgh. We were talking about the hole that we buried ourselves in and the long hard process it was to change that lifestyle. We looked for you on facebook and found your blog. Needless to say we are very very happy with how well you are doing, the progress you have made, and the positive influence you are having on these kids. I too work with kids doing behavioral modification in a local elementary school and am hopefully making an impact on these kids. Dub is doing great now too and wanted to tell you he said hello. I wish the best for you and look forward to hearing from you. Take care, Alex and Dub.
