After the vigil my girlfriend, myself and a few neighbors rounded up as many neighborhood kids as we could. First we dug out all of the bushes and replaced them with a memorial. It goes by a couple of names including Kevin's Corner but I prefer the Peace Garden. It is now a community gathering point that is enjoyed by the entire neighborhood and serves as a welcoming garden for people coming into the neighborhood... By far one of my favorite projects...
