General Guidelines

Transition is an open framework, but any organization trying to accomplish something needs at least a pinch of internal guidance - mission, vision, a few leaders. This is the place to talk about these things, and where any documents will be posted for community review.

If you’re interested in holding some leadership role (once we figure out what those are), this is a good group to join and participate in. Why should you help lead or develop internal policy (dry as it sounds)?

Because you believe in the goals of the Transition movement and want to see Pgh’s overarching group be a strong piece of the international network and local environmental community.
Because you get a kick out of developing structures that help others accomplish their goals
Because it’s great experience
Because you’ve got connections or experience to share
