Event Description

George Hoguet, trained by Al Gore, will present a slideshow from the worldwide 24 Hours of Climate Reality event, followed by meditation and dharma discussion. The intent of this meeting is to update our awareness of this great suffering and of how we can individually and collectively respond, particularly from within our traditions.  This event is not limited to practicing Buddhists. All are welcome.  We will look at these challenges and how we can live in such a way that a future can be possible for the children, of all species, and we will look at how we can contribute to an awakening in our homes and society.

The bit saying "trained by Al Gore" should be in bold. That's what makes me interested enough to come.

Oh boy, I didn't seriously expect you to do it. I was half-kidding. But nonetheless, I think it'll make people stop and look.
